Formed in 1999, the Festival Committee is composed of individuals with a strong connection to Hinton St George who are committed to bringing a wide variety of high quality, live music to the village and surroundings. We are fortunate to to have use of the beautiful, historic St George's church with its superb acoustics for all our concerts.

We recently enjoyed performances by the Allegri String Quartet, Julie Felix, Emma Kirkby, Show of Hands, Thomas 'Spats' Langham, Blagovest and more. Festival 2002 included duo performances by soprano Sinead Pratschke and guitarist Brad Richter, as well as saxophonist Federico Mondelci and pianist Kathryn Stott. Festival 2000 featured Kathryn Stott solo piano recital. All Festival programmes cover many types of music from jazz to traditional, contemporary to classical.
